Burkert Type 8801 On/Off Globe Valve Control System, for steam and gas, comprising of:

Burkert Type 2101 ELEMENT globe valve is designed for on/off isolation for use with steam up to 10 Bar. 2 Ways, 2 Position, normally closed with flow above seat for use with steam and flanged end connections according to DIN EN1092-1.

Stainless Steel construction, and self -adjusting V-Seals along with the ELEMENT actuator offer superior protection and durability in process environments.

Suitable for steam, gases and compressed air the flow above seat provides secure isolation of the media.

Burkert Type 8697/8690 control tops, fit securely onto the ELEMENT actuators and provide Open/Close position feedback through two proximity switches with the option of controlling the process valve by way of a 24VDC pilot solenoid. The control top utilises internal control air channels and a unique design that enables recycling of the process air to prevent environmental contamination of the actuator’s internal chambers. Combined with the IP65 electrical protection and the chemically resistant housing, the valve is ideally suited to demanding process environments.

Key features of the Type 2101 are:

• Available in sizes: DN15 up to DN50.
• Medium temperature: Up to 185°C.
• Suitable for steam up to 10 Bar.
• High cycle life.
• Not suitable for liquids.
