Hygienic Y Type Strainer Pump Protection

Our hygienic Y-type pump protection strainer is designed to remove potentially damaging debris before it passes through the pump, and also widely used to strain coarse particles
entering product lines. Suitable for CIP and SIP. The strainer is designed to fit into small or confined spaces, and for easy cleaning with no tools required to dismantle the
unit, and replace the element.

Manufactured entirely from 316 stainless steel, a pump protection strainer consists of a body, a single hinged clamp, a mesh element, and a lipped EPDM joint ring.

Sizes available: 1” (DN25), 1 1/2” (DN40), 2” (DN50), 2 1/2” (DN65), 3” (DN80), and 4” (DN100) with OD weld end connections. For sizes 1″, 1 1/2″, and 2 1/2″, a concentric cone will be used on a standard body. Supplied as standard with a 1.0 mm (mesh 19) element for sizes 1”, 1 ½”, and 2”, and a 1.5 mm (mesh 12) element for sizes 2 ½”, 3”, and 4”.
